.:: It's a Wild World ::.

Today I have encountered 2 incidents which almost spoilt my mood for this lovely weekend that are precious to the working people... sigh... :( After a long working hours it's time for me to called it a day in the evening. I went home with my colleague which is also my friend, we planned to have dinner together so we decided to go to one of our favourite mamak to have our meals. I stopped by to have my car washed, the car is so dirty that I ashamed to even drive around... I have not washed my car for weeks.... :O lazy me.... :D

I left my car to the open car wash to let them wash my car while I have my dinner. I put aside all my valuable to avoid unnecessary trouble.

.:: Into Enemy Camp ::.

So we went into mamak shop and my friend, Ken, he asked for a menu and the guy that working there actually thought Ken said "minum" which is drink... I laughed, obviously that guy is not Malaysian... so another guy with slightly better in speaking Bahasa (Malaysia's national language) came to us and we asked for a menu. He gave to us, Ken saw and he would like to order Nasi Paprik but the menu have 2 types which is Nasi Paprik cost RM4.00 and Nasi Goreng Paprik cost RM5.00. He asked the guy what's the difference and the guy explain that Nasi Paprik come with white rice and the paprik dish (in separate plate) but Nasi Goreng Paprik is everything lump together in a plate.

Ken ordered Nasi Paprik and I as usual, either 2 roti kosong, potong (cut into pieces) and banjir (mix with gravy) cost RM1.60 or Nasi Lemak with Ayam Redang (one of the famous Malay's food) cost RM4.50. So I ordered Nasi Lemak with Ayam Rendang. Drink is Limau Ais (Lime Ice) for me and Teh Ais (Ice Tea) for Ken.

.:: First Strike ::.

Everything came and as we ate, we talk about everything... After we have finished, we checked on the bills written in a small piece of paper. Before we checked we know that Ken's dinner cost RM5.00 (RM4.00 + RM1.00) and mine is RM5.50 (RM4.50 + RM1.00). To our surprise, Ken's dinner cost RM6.00 (RM5.00 + RM1.00) and mine is RM6.2 (RM2.00 + RM3.00 + RM1.20). Omg! this is outrages! We asked for their explaination and they said they make a mistake on Ken's bill but mine bill remain the same!

Nasi Lemak = RM2.00, Ayam = RM3.00, Limau Ais = RM1.20.... hah! I told them they're wrong but they insist that their are right. I don't want to argue with them and we left the table to go towards the cashier. We questioned the cashier how much is Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang + Limau Ais and he replied RM5.50... We showed him the bill and he surprise to see the bill. So he charged me RM5.50 ^^ hehehe... Know why we go to the cashier?

Spoiler (Highlight this line to see answer): Because the cashier is the Boss himself... lol... clever huh? No need argue. :P

So we walked back to the open car wash happily thinking that we have avoid being cheated, well, not to say cheated but overcharge by the employee there... :P I picked up my car, snow wash cost me RM8.00 (what's the difference anyway?)

.:: Final Blow ::.

As I walked to my car, I eager to see whether anything is lost in my car. Everything is fine, nothing seems to be missing... phew... but... wait a minute! Hey, my coins in the cigarette ash tray are gone!!! All is left is only 10sen and believe me, I have more than that and furthermore what a coincidence that all the 10sen are the only coin in there? That person tried to outsmart the driver to make them think that everything seems fine.

Anyway, I do not wish to make a big fuss because the money is gone and I don't have any proof for it... sigh... I wish that whoever he was, is happy of what he have with him now.

.:: Reflection ::.

So what I understand in here? That always double check on things, even though you know it very well doesn't mean you have to be careless... and never, never and never leave anything in your car if you were to leave the car for wash.

- The End -
