.:: Believe It or Not! ::.

Something bizarre happened during my lunch hour, I was having lunch with a group of my usual lunch group colleagues (about 10 people). We went to a some stall nearby street and we were given warm welcome by the owner (of course, they're suppose to be happy to see us :D )

After each of everyone order our meals, we waited and without any delay the meals are ready since it's instant anyway (we were having "Chu Cheong Fun" for lunch :P ). I choose about pieces one of them is some vegetable. So all of us were eating and talking nonsense, making fun of one another to release some stress... hehe...

So I was eating and suddenly all of the sudden, one of my colleague (she just join us for lunch for the first time) put her chopstick in my plate and take some of my vegetable without, I say again, without asking for it.

Omg! I was stunned for a moment looking right at her... she then said could she have some to try, I know she must be thinking I'm mad at her because I literally look at her face one kind... lol... seriously I was shock at that time...

Then I said, "I already "touch" the food, Are you sure you still want it" and guess what happen... She said "Hah? Nah, give you back" she put back the vegetable back to my plate!!! Omg! I think I kinda shouted out loud "No! Don't do that..."

Funny thing is she still blur of what's wrong with it and said "What's wrong? I haven't eat it". I was speechless... I just kept quiet and pick up the vegetable and put aside outside my plate. Some other colleague told her that even thought she didn't "touch" it but her saliva on her chopstick is all over it...
Noun: saliva

A clear liquid secreted into the mouth by the salivary glands and mucous glands of the mouth; moistens the mouth and starts the digestion of starches

I couldn't believe it, I know there are many kinda of people with different characteristic but why it happens to me most of the time! sigh~

.:: Flash Back ::.

The above trauma has triggered my memory that there is another one incident (quite a while ago, at least a year back) it happened during lunch hour too, that time I was with another company. There is this girl also doing the same thing but she does it diferrently and I would say that this girl slightly better that the girl above.

This girl will go straight to take the food with chopstick or whatever she have and while she taking it, she will ask permission for it. Bare with me a moment, she ask and take at the same time! LOL, trust me, you don't have time to evaluate what she just ask because it happen so fast that only action can make you understand what she meant...

I don't mind them taking my lunch to try/test or whatever but at least people should have some courtesy to ask from me... even my best friend won't do that to me... I wonder that does this ever cross their mind that it is wrong just to take something from people without asking?

Where is the table manners today stand? I wonder...
