BroadBand or BoredBand?

Not sure whether my area signal is getting weaker or my PC is getting slower... I can't seems to load my blog page out! Even now, I'm having trouble loading this page... omg! what is wrong with Net! After much trouble loading the page, I've decided to use Mozilla Firefox and voila! The page loaded smoothly (even though it's not that fast, but it did load up! :P)

So I think for now, I will be using Mozilla Firefox instead of good old IE... hmmph...

By the way, as you can see the old blog template is kinda gloom so I change to a brighter one... :D Hope you all like it...

New "Friend"

Yesterday, I received a forward email saying someone is giving away his bunnies because there are too many of them... (I guess his rabbit breed a lot, lol) So I send him a SMS and waited patiently for his reply... for your information I always wanted a rabbit but I don't want to buy them... (not 'kiam' just my heart tells me not)

I did searched around SPCA website and they have rabbits for adoption! But those rabbits are adopted faster than those cats and dogs! lol... I tried to called SPCA few times but there are no more rabbits available for adoption... sigh...

Anyway back to this guy giving away his rabbits... He replied me later at night! I was excited and all, after introducing myself and telling him where I located, then he stop reply my last SMS... I was worried that he changed his mind... I sent another SMS, no reply...

The next morning...

I was getting a bit worried so I SMS him again... this time he replied and he told me that he's not in KL (Kuala Lumpur) now, he will SMS me again when he's back. phew... what a relief... so I guess I have to wait for him... :)

I will keep you guys inform with my latest update of my future new "friend" and hopefully some pictures too! :)

.:: Sloppy Job ::.

Recently I have been receiving quite a number of snail mails (picture below)

And none of them is mine! =.=''' Well, the postman has done a good job here... they thought they read te address correctly but there is a difference between my address with these above... just one word at the end of the condominium name, makes a big difference...

I believe they only read the lot number and somehow read partial of the condominium name... this is very annoying as the other condo is having the same lot numbering system as my condo.

I can't always be the one receiving all these mails which is not mine... I can't be doing his job! Why?! Why me?!! sigh... Anyway I was thinking to put all those mails back into the mailbox and let the postman collect it back and re-send again... hmm... :D

Just a thought...

.:: Believe It or Not! ::.

Something bizarre happened during my lunch hour, I was having lunch with a group of my usual lunch group colleagues (about 10 people). We went to a some stall nearby street and we were given warm welcome by the owner (of course, they're suppose to be happy to see us :D )

After each of everyone order our meals, we waited and without any delay the meals are ready since it's instant anyway (we were having "Chu Cheong Fun" for lunch :P ). I choose about pieces one of them is some vegetable. So all of us were eating and talking nonsense, making fun of one another to release some stress... hehe...

So I was eating and suddenly all of the sudden, one of my colleague (she just join us for lunch for the first time) put her chopstick in my plate and take some of my vegetable without, I say again, without asking for it.

Omg! I was stunned for a moment looking right at her... she then said could she have some to try, I know she must be thinking I'm mad at her because I literally look at her face one kind... lol... seriously I was shock at that time...

Then I said, "I already "touch" the food, Are you sure you still want it" and guess what happen... She said "Hah? Nah, give you back" she put back the vegetable back to my plate!!! Omg! I think I kinda shouted out loud "No! Don't do that..."

Funny thing is she still blur of what's wrong with it and said "What's wrong? I haven't eat it". I was speechless... I just kept quiet and pick up the vegetable and put aside outside my plate. Some other colleague told her that even thought she didn't "touch" it but her saliva on her chopstick is all over it...
Noun: saliva

A clear liquid secreted into the mouth by the salivary glands and mucous glands of the mouth; moistens the mouth and starts the digestion of starches

I couldn't believe it, I know there are many kinda of people with different characteristic but why it happens to me most of the time! sigh~

.:: Flash Back ::.

The above trauma has triggered my memory that there is another one incident (quite a while ago, at least a year back) it happened during lunch hour too, that time I was with another company. There is this girl also doing the same thing but she does it diferrently and I would say that this girl slightly better that the girl above.

This girl will go straight to take the food with chopstick or whatever she have and while she taking it, she will ask permission for it. Bare with me a moment, she ask and take at the same time! LOL, trust me, you don't have time to evaluate what she just ask because it happen so fast that only action can make you understand what she meant...

I don't mind them taking my lunch to try/test or whatever but at least people should have some courtesy to ask from me... even my best friend won't do that to me... I wonder that does this ever cross their mind that it is wrong just to take something from people without asking?

Where is the table manners today stand? I wonder...

.:: It's alive! ::.

Yesterday as I went back home, I was thinking about my Mini all the time... whether or not I have to sent in to service centre or I might able to get it back to default factory setting. As I reached home, first thing I did is to check whether my Mini is fully charge and it has. So the moment of truth, I switch on my Mini and it works as though nothing has ever happen!

Mini just behave like I have just hard-reset it. So I manage to get it back alive and now to prepare my third party software to be install in it. I'm so excited... :D I don't think I will try to upgrade the BigStorage patch again as I don't get much helps if I'm in deep shit.

All I ever care now is to carefully organise my Mini and setup all the settings back.

.:: The First Picture ::.

I just took one picture using my Mini... hehehe... (yea, I know it's poor quality >.< ) it was my office view from my table... maybe you can guess where it's located... :P

I'm happy with my Mini now and my new goal for my Mini is to install good 3rd party software... :D if you happen to have to and would like to share do let a note here... ^^

.:: Reborn ::.

My long awaiting Mini has returned! Yay! After reading through the Lowyatt forum I have convinced to upgrade the BigStorage. Since everyone able to upgrade it successfully, I might just give it a shot...

So I have followed the instruction carefully to prevent anything bad happen again... all is fine until I stopped at step 5 as shown below

Backup original ROM:
1. Cancel USB in ActiveSync on your PC
2. Put Mini into the boot loader mode (hold both on/off and camera buttons at the same time while resetting). .
3. Insert empty SD card to Mini.
4. Connect Mini to PC through USB.
5. Run romupdate.exe on pc.
6. Select “\\.\WCEUSBSH001” in port settings. In the popup windows, enter “d2s” and press enter.

As you can see the highlighted in pink. After I have run the step 5, I supposed to select “\\.\WCEUSBSH001” in port settings but all I can see is:

The only thing I can select is either COM 1 or COM 2... *I can sense the Dark force will haunt me again*

I cried for help in Lowyatt forum (
Click Here! Post #59) but not many response... fortunately ah_keh, one of the forummer replied one of my PM trying to help me to solve my problem but...

But I'm glad she did tried her very best to help... oh well, guess I have to try my luck somewhere...

.:: Second Chance ::.

So I followed ah_keh to go to the XDA Developers and ask the expert there... I got myself register to the website and posted in that thread (
Click Here!) but no one seems to interested in giving a helping hand... sigh...

But now I have learned something... actually the first death of my Mini is actually in "boot loader mode" and it's not crash... :D

So right now, my Mini is in "boot loader mode" state and the battery power will continue to run until it finish and this morning I re-charge it again for the zillion times but this time I will try to let my Mini to boot itself, because everytime after the power runs out and I let it charge, my Mini actually boot up back to the Welcome screenie...

Maybe there is some hope there... I really do not wish to travel that far again to send my Mini to the service centre... can't bear another 2 weeks of separation... :(

.:: If only I could... ::.

If only I could turn back time... I will not do the upgrade... if only... sigh... All I care now is to restore my Mini back to the default factory setting... I have to wait until this evening to see whether after full charge my Mini will boot back to default factory setting...

.:: It's a Wild World ::.

Today I have encountered 2 incidents which almost spoilt my mood for this lovely weekend that are precious to the working people... sigh... :( After a long working hours it's time for me to called it a day in the evening. I went home with my colleague which is also my friend, we planned to have dinner together so we decided to go to one of our favourite mamak to have our meals. I stopped by to have my car washed, the car is so dirty that I ashamed to even drive around... I have not washed my car for weeks.... :O lazy me.... :D

I left my car to the open car wash to let them wash my car while I have my dinner. I put aside all my valuable to avoid unnecessary trouble.

.:: Into Enemy Camp ::.

So we went into mamak shop and my friend, Ken, he asked for a menu and the guy that working there actually thought Ken said "minum" which is drink... I laughed, obviously that guy is not Malaysian... so another guy with slightly better in speaking Bahasa (Malaysia's national language) came to us and we asked for a menu. He gave to us, Ken saw and he would like to order Nasi Paprik but the menu have 2 types which is Nasi Paprik cost RM4.00 and Nasi Goreng Paprik cost RM5.00. He asked the guy what's the difference and the guy explain that Nasi Paprik come with white rice and the paprik dish (in separate plate) but Nasi Goreng Paprik is everything lump together in a plate.

Ken ordered Nasi Paprik and I as usual, either 2 roti kosong, potong (cut into pieces) and banjir (mix with gravy) cost RM1.60 or Nasi Lemak with Ayam Redang (one of the famous Malay's food) cost RM4.50. So I ordered Nasi Lemak with Ayam Rendang. Drink is Limau Ais (Lime Ice) for me and Teh Ais (Ice Tea) for Ken.

.:: First Strike ::.

Everything came and as we ate, we talk about everything... After we have finished, we checked on the bills written in a small piece of paper. Before we checked we know that Ken's dinner cost RM5.00 (RM4.00 + RM1.00) and mine is RM5.50 (RM4.50 + RM1.00). To our surprise, Ken's dinner cost RM6.00 (RM5.00 + RM1.00) and mine is RM6.2 (RM2.00 + RM3.00 + RM1.20). Omg! this is outrages! We asked for their explaination and they said they make a mistake on Ken's bill but mine bill remain the same!

Nasi Lemak = RM2.00, Ayam = RM3.00, Limau Ais = RM1.20.... hah! I told them they're wrong but they insist that their are right. I don't want to argue with them and we left the table to go towards the cashier. We questioned the cashier how much is Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang + Limau Ais and he replied RM5.50... We showed him the bill and he surprise to see the bill. So he charged me RM5.50 ^^ hehehe... Know why we go to the cashier?

Spoiler (Highlight this line to see answer): Because the cashier is the Boss himself... lol... clever huh? No need argue. :P

So we walked back to the open car wash happily thinking that we have avoid being cheated, well, not to say cheated but overcharge by the employee there... :P I picked up my car, snow wash cost me RM8.00 (what's the difference anyway?)

.:: Final Blow ::.

As I walked to my car, I eager to see whether anything is lost in my car. Everything is fine, nothing seems to be missing... phew... but... wait a minute! Hey, my coins in the cigarette ash tray are gone!!! All is left is only 10sen and believe me, I have more than that and furthermore what a coincidence that all the 10sen are the only coin in there? That person tried to outsmart the driver to make them think that everything seems fine.

Anyway, I do not wish to make a big fuss because the money is gone and I don't have any proof for it... sigh... I wish that whoever he was, is happy of what he have with him now.

.:: Reflection ::.

So what I understand in here? That always double check on things, even though you know it very well doesn't mean you have to be careless... and never, never and never leave anything in your car if you were to leave the car for wash.

.:: The death of Mini ::.

Hello to all my reader, today is special because I have promised myself to make an effort to make entries in my eBlog. Since have I have sign-up this last year, I have yet to contribute anything... I'm ashamed of myself...

As to why I didn't post anything? Maybe I'm just plain lazy :P and was afraid... afraid that I don't have good command of English. But what the heck, I will do my best and if I'm wrong please don't flame me... poor me... :D

Anyway, back to my title, The death of mini... it was actually my O2 Mini that crash when I tried to update to the latest ROM v1.11. Seriously there is no way I could have done it wrong. I have followed every single instruction and it still die on me...

It was fine when the upgrading in progress but suddenly, a message pop-up said that the connection between my Mini and my PC is lost and the upgrade stop abruptly. Mini crash on 6th June 2005 at 1:04am... :(

I cried for help in Lowyatt forum but no one could help me, all of them able to upgrade successfully... so I have no choice but to send to O2 service centre which located around Sunway Pyramid, I patiently wait for the weekend because I can't go on weekdays as I'm working and not staying any near Sunway... swt...

.:: A New Hope ::.

11th June 2005 around 10:40am, I drive to Sunway to send my beloved Mini to service centre... journey is smooth sail, no traffic jam or what-so-ever... since this is my first time sending my Mini to service centre, I totally have no idea where is the service centre but luckily by the time I stop-by to ask for direction in one of the mobile shop, the shopkeeper said that the service centre is just opposite side of their shop. Thank God!

Inside the service centre, there were 3 ladies and one of them approach me and ask me what is the problem. I told them the whole situation and they told me that they gonna sent my Mini to fix. All they wrote in the Faulty Symptom is "Cannot ON"... all my effort trying to explain what had happened only can be simplfied to only 2 words...

.:: The Return of the Mini ::.

Weekend is coming up and I can't wait for my Mini to return to my palm. I got tons of tweaks that I found in Lowyatt forum that I would like to try on my Mini. But I scare it will haunt me again... I'm still deciding whether or not to try the tweak as most of them claim that they have no problem tweaking their Mini...

Conclusion: I will let you know once I have decided on what to do next. :) Oh my... it's kinda long post for first timer like me... Got to go, still working right now... >.<
